Post 11th July - Scenario Walk-on
OPERATION BATTLEFIELD

Objective:

Command as many of the Control Points (CP’s) as possible for as long as possible.

Game:

Throughout the designated area are 5 CP’s - each is marked on the supplied map and is identified on the ground with a sign/flag. On each of these markers are red and blue markers. When a team secures the CP they place their marker on the top of the post, if they capture it from the enemy’s possession they remove the enemy marker and replace with their own.

LUNCH will be at 1pm for approx. 1 hour

Rules:

WHEN HIT:
• Shout 'HIT' (nice and loud so they hear you or you will continue to be shot!).
• Raise one hand in the air and hold your weapon with its barrel skywards so it is obvious you are non-combatant.
• Return to the nearest re-spawn point before re-joining the game. Re-spawn points are marked on the maps and on the ground.

GAME PLAY:
• DO NOT camp out at re-spawn points - if you think this is happening inform a marshal.
• When attempting to capture a CP you may be at close quarters, REMEMBER THE BANG RULE!
• Safe-zones for reloading are at the main safe-zone or at the 3 re-spawn points throughout the game arena
o if you sit down to reload in the game area you can get hit
o if you stand around chatting you can get hit
• If you are moving to a re-spawn point have one hand raised to signify and keep to main pathways as much as is possible. If moving through a battle please wait and make yourself known with the call of ‘Dead Man Walking’ or ‘Dead Man Coming Out’
• You may only re-join the game from a re-spawn point NOT the main safe zone - first travel to a re-spawn and then re-join.

Post Re: 11th July - Scenario Walk-on
I will be attending this one, and I will be bringing two/three friends, one of which is going to bring his own gun, I decided not to use my dragunov (though I might bring it to crono because I haven't managed to get the spring yet and it might be too hot :P) and if it is allowed I might use it for a bit, but for the most part the rest of us will be hiring. Is that ok?
Cheers!
Joe.

Hi pip,

sorry for late reply - been hectic week and i've been on the facebook group more than here. Have you booked the hire guns with the site? they have limited numbers so always best to book in advance.

If not confirm how many you need and i'll see if they have them available.

Ian

No Ive booked them so its fine :D what about batteries? will there be a chance to charge them at all in the day? (thinking about my friend bringing his own gun as well) will there be somewhere safe to store my sniper if it is too powerful or if I decide not to use it (plus would it be possible to swap guns inbetween rounds/lives if it is ok to use?)
Cheers
Joe.

I thought you'd been along before?

The hire guns come all charged up, if you bring your own gun you should charge your battery before coming! The site does have chargers I'm sure they'll let you use, but it can take a while to charge a battery.

Popping in and out of safe zone is not always post during games, find me tomorrow and I'll talk you through anything your unsure of.

Ian
